Rocket 3.0 (ZTE MF-683) is a successor for Rocket 2 launched at August 2010, last year. This new T-Mob's Rocket usb modem works on GSMGPRS/EDGE, and HSUPA / HSDPA / WCDMA network and supports T-Mobile's HSPA+ network service.

At CTIA 2011 event, T-Mobile even successed to show off the download speed using ZTE MF-683 Rocket 3.0 usb modem up to 25 Mbps on their HSPA + network. T-Mobile plans to expand their 4G HSPA+ 42 service to Chicago, Long Island, and northern New Jersey in mid-2011 and expected to cover more than 140 million subscribers in all coverage cities.
